Rules for Little League 8, 9, and 10 Year Olds

 

 

Safety First – Follow Instructions - No Horseplay – Games or practices will be called if raining.

 

Little League is to have fun and learn the rules. Winning is NOT the most important thing.

 

Show respect to each other, coaches, and to the equipment at all times. 

 

Players and /or their parents are responsible for transportation to and from all practices and games. (All games/practices will be at Chapman Park).

 

Players can strike out and/or walk. Three outs or ten batters per inning whichever one comes first. No stealing of bases.

 

Ball is in play unless it goes over the fence.

 

Must have signed permission slip to play and a copy of your birth certificate handed in.

 

Players need to check bulletin board or internet for times of games and practices.

 

Every player will play at least three innings of every game in league play, unless

you have been suspended due to misconduct or have not been to any practices

or games without an excuse.

 

Report all injuries to your coach immediately. Do not wait till later.

 

Proper equipment will be worn at all times (boys to wear protective cup).

 

We follow Little League rules.

 

Failure to follow the rules can get you dismissed from the program.

 

8, 9 and 10 year olds will use a R.I.F. (Reduced Injury Factor) baseball.
