Feedback requested about use of ARPA, CRRSAA funds

Public schools across the country will receive federal aid through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).  Both federal and state guidelines set the spending requirements.

Federal grant funds must be used sooner rather than later.  CRRSAA funds must be spent by September 2023 and APRA funds must be spent by September 2024.

Additionally, districts must prioritize non-recurring spending.  This is to prevent widespread hiring or adoption of costly programs that cannot be sustained when federal funds expire.  Schools may hire or add new programs, but investments should be sustainable to provide continuity and the best benefit to students.

Federal and state guidance identifies categories for spending that are listed below and we are seeking your feedback to help our planning.  Please identify your top 3 priorities below and share your creative ideas.  We benefit from collective wisdom and better serve students by having a better understanding of the entire school community.

Families are invited to submit their feedback using this form.
